UnqioAssistant and technician text opt-in

For Unqio users and technicians

Texting the Unqio assistant

Business owners and office staff who use Unqio can text (302) 240-9136 from their own phone to ask about their business ("who's past due?") or to request a small change, which only happens after they reply YES. Unqio replies only to messages they send. Customers of those businesses never receive texts from this number.

How someone opts in

  1. They sign in to their Unqio account and open Settings → Security → Text the assistant.
  2. They enter their mobile number and tick the consent box below (unticked until they tick it; required).
  3. Unqio texts a 6-digit code to that number (valid 10 minutes); typing it back in links the number. Nothing is sent to a number that hasn't done this.
  4. From then on, every conversation starts with a text they send.

Technicians of Unqio businesses

A business that uses Unqio adds each technician in its account with their mobile number. The person adding them ticks the box below to confirm the technician agreed to work texts at that number. The box is unticked until they tick it, and a number can't be saved without it. Technicians get their work link and short confirmations of the texts they send in to clock in or out or log supplies. They never receive promotions.

Texts to customers of Unqio businesses are a separate program with its own opt-in: unqio.app/optin.
